Introducing OBSI: technology for a connected world
Why we’re building a family of products across mobility, AI content, marketplaces and business software, and what ties them together.
Read articleOur home base shapes how we think about mobility, commerce and digital life, and why we design for scale from the start.

OBSI is based in Kuala Lumpur, a city that moves fast. Its roads, neighbourhoods and markets are a daily reminder of the problems our products set out to solve: getting around, finding a place to live, running a business and keeping up with the news.
Building close to the people we serve keeps us honest. It’s easier to design a good navigation or rental experience when you understand the journeys people actually make, and easier to build a marketplace when you know how people really buy, sell and rent.
At the same time, we design every product so it can grow beyond its first market. That means clean foundations, careful localisation and products that don’t depend on shortcuts that only work in one place.
Start where you understand the problem best, and build so the solution can travel.
If you’re interested in partnering with OBSI or one of our products, we’d like to hear from you.
