Why we build an ecosystem, not a single product
Eight products can look like a lot. Here’s the reasoning behind a multi-product approach, and the discipline it takes to do it well.

Most of the technology we rely on every day is invisible when it works. We notice it when something goes missing, a journey goes wrong, or a business has to juggle five systems to answer one question. OBSI exists to build technology that quietly removes that friction.
Rather than build one product, we’re building a portfolio. It covers connected tracking devices, navigation, vehicle rental, AI-assisted content tools, an asset marketplace and business software. Each product has its own name, audience and website. Together, they make up the OBSI ecosystem.
Our brand line sums up what we care about. People are the individuals and teams who use what we make. Places are where life and work happen: on the road, in the newsroom, at home or in the office. Possibilities are what opens up when the right tools are connected.
A parent brand lets every product keep its own personality while sharing a common standard for design, reliability and honesty. Someone using one OBSI product should recognise the same care when they meet another.
We’d rather describe a product exactly as it is today than promise what it might become.
That principle shapes this website too. We describe products by what they are designed to do, and we’ll share more as capabilities are confirmed. Insights is where we’ll write about our thinking, our products and the problems we’re working on.
